The appliance manufacturer, Midea, tasked my group with exploring the feasibility of a sustainable interior packaging solution for their portable AC unit. We replaced their expanded polystyrene inserts with a solution featuring layers of Honeycomb and BC-flute corrugated board, as well as Ranpak materials to cushion and secure the fragile components.
